During the month of October, Woodruff Middle School and Woodruff High School sold “Claws for the Cause” pink t-shirts to support breast cancer awareness. The proceeds from these shirt sales and from other school projects were donated to the Woodruff Relay for Life chapter. Chairperson Mary Ann McAbee accepted the donation of more than $2,700 at halftime of the Woodruff-Broome football game Friday evening at Varner Stadium.
