Athlete of the Week
This week’s Edward Jones/Woodruff Middle School Athlete of the Week is 8th grader Jessie Mims.
Jessie is a member of the middle school wrestling team and wrestles at the 125 lb class. He helped the team defeat Mabry last week. Jessie individually won 2 of his 3 matches; his 2 wins were by pins. Head Coach Michael Tumblin says that Jessie has improved a lot and is showing a lot of potential as he continues to work hard.
Jessie will receive a t-shirt and a certificate from the Edward Jones Investment Company. Congratulations!
